ABOUT

Rosebell Wangui Gideon is a certified mediator and counseling psychologist with extensive experience in psychosocial care, HIV prevention, mediation, and community mobilization. She has served with CSO in Health spaces, State House Dispensary, Tudor District Hospital, and Dr. Agrawal Eye Clinic, where she coordinated HTC services, supervised counselors, and led outreach across vulnerable communities.

At AASF, Rosebell serves as Regional Coordinator for Coastal Counties, where she oversees program rollout, mobilizes schools and communities, and integrates psychosocial wellness, life skills, and mediation into mentorship programs. She provides strategic leadership for outreach through the Mentor Bus, digital-first platforms, and youth-centered community initiatives. Rosebell also leads within the WODENS 100 project, championing women’s empowerment and intergenerational mentorship to cultivate a pipeline of female leaders across the Coast and ASAL regions. Her multidisciplinary expertise makes her a key driver of AASF’s regional impact.
